Terms of Service
By using Helpal, you agree to follow the platform rules, including the Academic Integrity Policy and Prohibited Requests Policy. Helpal is a learning-support marketplace with a payment review and release flow, not a service for impersonation or ready-to-submit academic work.
Student posting acknowledgement
Before a student can create a new academic request or continue from an analysed preview, Helpal asks the student to confirm that the request is for tutoring, feedback, or guided academic help and that the student will submit their own final work.
Key rules
- No academic misconduct, impersonation, or prohibited requests.
- Experts must provide learning support (feedback/notes), not "ready-to-submit" cheating content.
- Students remain responsible for what they submit to their institution.
- Payments are processed by the active payment provider and then handled through Helpal's payment review and release flow, subject to the Refunds & Disputes Policy.
Payment and service start
When you start checkout, you ask Helpal to begin the paid service flow without waiting for the end of any standard cancellation period that may apply under distance-selling law. Depending on the stage reached, cancellation rights may reduce once matching, preparation, review, or delivery work has started, and a proportionate charge may apply where law permits.
Requests, approvals, and disputes
Helpal records workflow actions, review outcomes, and dispute activity so that funding, release, refund, or cancellation decisions can be audited later if needed. The detailed operating rules for this are set out in the Refunds & Disputes Policy.
Referral rewards
A student referrer may choose either a cash reward equal to 10% of a referred student's first successful payment or a 15% discount on one future assessment. Only the referred student's first successful payment qualifies. When an expert joins through a referral, the referrer earns 5% of that expert's first job value only after the student explicitly approves the completed work.
Each qualifying person can generate only one referral reward. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, reversed or refunded transactions, abuse, and payments that cannot be verified do not qualify. Helpal may withhold, cancel, or reverse a referral reward where these conditions are not met. Cash rewards are recorded in Helpal's base currency and may be converted for display or settlement.
Account actions
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts for policy violations or suspected misuse. We may refuse transactions that appear prohibited.
Limitation
Helpal does not guarantee grades, academic outcomes, or acceptance by institutions. We provide a structured learning support flow and a dispute process.
